Clearing Non-Resettable Totals [Master Unit]

You must clear all daily, term and non-resettable totals from Master, Back Up Master and each Satellite before the GT6000 goes live. ==OR== IF YOU INSTALL A MASTER AFTER A TOTAL MASTER
MEMORY CLEAR AND RING UP 'TEST' SALES IN REGISTER MODE INSTEAD OF TRAINING MODE.

To clear DAILY and TERM totals, proceed as follows:

1. On each terminal, clear satellite totals by turning to "Z" mode and running reports 4 (Group), 5
(Department), 1 (Daily Overall), 51 (Term Overall) and 53 (Validation Report).
Press the red "C" key when the display says "CLEAR?" after each report.

2. On the Master terminal, run report 99 with Keyword 9876543210 to clear all Master and Back Up
Master daily and term totals

3. On each terminal, clear NON-RESETTABLE totals as follows:

· Power down & turn to P2 mode.

· Hold down the red "C" key, the "0" key and the "00" while turning power on. All display characters
should light up.

· Press the red "C" key to clear the display.

· Enter the number 037520111 and press key location 16 on the Full Travel keyboard.

· Key location 16 must contain a Function Code in order to clear non-resettable totals.

· Power down.

· Depress the "INITIALIZE" switch on the front of the unit while powering back up. The Satellite version
number should appear on the display.

· Clear the version number by entering the Hobart Service Number.

· On each terminal, turn to "X" Mode and run the Satellite Overall Report (Report 1), Also run the
Store Overall Report on the Master terminal (Report 6).

· Confirm that all totals are zero.

· Sign off such that the display says "CLOSE". The system is now ready to go live.
