Each Master and Satellite computer has its own clock. When you first set up a system, each clock may
be set to a different date and time. However, it's important that the date and time are the same
throughout the system.

Therefore, when all terminals are on line set date and time from the Master terminal.

1. Setting date & time from the Master Terminal broadcast it to all computers in the system.

NOTE: If you set date & time at a satellite terminals you affect the clock in that satellite computer only.

2. Date is expressed in terms of MMDDYYW.

· M = MONTH

· D = DAY

· Y = YEAR

· W = DAY OF WEEK
(0=Monday, 1=Tuesday, 2=Wednesday, 3=Thursday, 4=Friday, 5=Saturday, 6=Sunday),

3. Time is expressed in 24 hour (military) time (HHMMSS).

· H = HOURS

· M = MINUTES

· S = SECONDS (you can use 2 zeros here)

· (12:00:00 = Noon, 13:00 = 1:00 pm, etc.; 00:00:00 = 12:00 am, 01:00 = 1:00 am, etc.)

4. To set system date and time, turn the Mode Selector Switch to P1 and proceed as follows:

Hit the X/For key - System prompts for Date
When entered as above, hit the X/For key again.
Then system prompts for Time; enter as above and hit X/For once more.
System will display "End" on it.
